Healthcare Seating Refurbishment

Market Harborough Doctors Surgery approached us to refurbish 46 existing chairs as part of an update to their interior and new branding.

The brief was to re-cover the seating in materials that complemented the surgery’s new colour scheme while meeting the practical demands of a busy healthcare environment. With a high volume of daily use, durability was essential, alongside ensuring all specified fabrics were appropriately certified for use within a healthcare setting.

As the chairs provide essential seating for patients attending daily clinics, minimising disruption was a key consideration. We carefully coordinated the refurbishment in batches, ensuring sufficient seating remained available throughout the project.

Where work could be completed on site, our team worked around the surgery’s opening hours, arriving before 8am to complete the necessary work before patients began arriving for appointments.

The result was 46 refreshed chairs that complemented the surgery’s new branding while providing the durability and performance required for a busy medical environment — all delivered with minimal disruption to the day-to-day running of the practice.
