Case Study - Group 1 Automotive
The Project
John Reed & Son Commercial Upholstery was approached by an architect working with Group 1 Automotive as part of an office redecoration project.
The communal breakout area featured a large seating unit that required re-covering to complement the refreshed interior and reflect the company's brand identity.
Our Approach
Working closely with the architect, we helped select a suitable upholstery fabric that met the client's requirements while coordinating with Group 1 Automotive's brand colours.
Careful consideration was given to the fabric's appearance, suitability and practicality for a shared workplace environment, ensuring the finished seating would complement the wider office design.
To minimise disruption and ensure the project stayed on schedule, we removed the seating unit and transported it to our workshop, where our team carried out the re-covering work.
The Result
The large breakout seating unit was re-covered in the selected fabric and re-installed on site, ready for the agreed deadline.
The completed piece complemented the refreshed office interior, helping create a cohesive communal space that reflected Group 1 Automotive's branding.
By combining specialist upholstery craftsmanship with close collaboration and careful project coordination, John Reed & Son delivered a tailored commercial upholstery solution as part of the wider office transformation.
